Hey guys! I am sharing with you today the 3/4 sleeve silk black crew neck top with floral print A-line skirt. It is suitable for both a weekend hangout or office environment. I paired them with black suede platform sandals and a flower embossed chain bag.

The magic place is Grounds For Sculptures in New Jersey. The Rats Restaurant here has a door front with water vapors from creeper covered walls with a giant tree in the middle and figure statues. It felt like an adventure of Dorothy in the magical Land of Oz. You could have an outside lunch watching Monet's Bridge and Garden brought to real life, with wild ducks landing from the pond and take a nap on your side! It is a great space to share with your love or friends for a special event and you can take a walk after in the park. It would surely amuse you by making a connection with the art and nature! 

Lemon and Lavender

Hey guys! Today I am sharing with you my trip to Lavender by the Bay, the lavender field on the tip of Long Island. The first and second bloom is late June to mid July, and if you missed out there is another bloom later summer/early fall, you can check back their bloom schedule here. When you come make sure you visit their lovely shop first and take some souvenirs to support managing the flower field. You can get lavender honeys and fresh farm eggs if you come at the right time. They are delicious!

Lemon and lavender is the dream of mine. My lemon color dress is from Self Portrait you can get it on sale with incredible deal here. 

I also would like to share with you my skin care toner made with lemon and lavender essential oil. I make tea with one organic chamomile teabag and one calendula teabag with 80ml of water, let it cool down and add 1/4 teaspoon of honey and stir, then I would add rose water, two drops of lemon essential oil and two drops of lavender essential oil. The toner has calming and healing properties given by chamomile and lavender, calendula is good for your eyes, lemon would brighten your skin ( only use at night), and together with lavender can help remove any dark spots you get from the sun. I would store it in the fridge and apply every night as skin toner. If you are wondering I have listed my tools below for your reference.

We paddled around the Lone Rock, stepped on the white sandstone, hiked bare foot avoiding stepping on the giant dessert ants, and jumped into the water. That was a day full of adventures and memories in the middle of the blue water and white stone surrounded by copper rich orange dessert! 

Through the Looking Glass- Chinese Scholar Garden

Hey guys, the outfit today is a polka dot silk blouse paired with embossed bottom flare overall dress. The trip to the Chinese Scholar Garden was an experience like Lewis Carroll's through the looking glass, with yard decorations and furnitures shipped directly from Suzhou, China. You can take a free ferry from the Battery Park, navigating passing the Statue of Liberty, looking back at the silver city and within an hour, you would find yourself at the garden. Walking deep into the dark bamboo forest, I got the feeling of space traveling. It was really a Saturday afternoon spent in China.

Traveling sometimes means a lot of preparation and labor work: sunscreen and water are musts for the desert weather; insect repellent if you like to hike in the evening to hide from direct sunlight; and of course outfits and cameras are essentials. Breath Taking Scene with Simple Black Dress

By merely staring at the scene you would not believe it is someplace you could find on earth， at least not somewhere you can drive for two hours from the capitol city. This looks like a serene alien planet with totally flat water bed made of pure white salt. Empowered by the grand forces of mother nature, I would like just to be humbled under a simple black dress, listen, learn, esteem, and appreciate simply the state of being.
